No/Lo Italy is an independent map of Italian producers working with non-alcoholic, low-alcohol and fermented drinks.
Kombucha, water kefir, alcohol-free beer, aperitifs, botanical drinks, sparkling tea, wine alternatives, proxy wine and other grown-up drinks with less alcohol, or no alcohol at all.
The idea is simple: make a scattered scene easier to see.
Italy has plenty of people experimenting with new ways of drinking: fermenters, breweries, small labs, beverage makers, bars, restaurants and hybrid projects that do not always fit neatly into existing categories.
No/Lo Italy tries to collect them in one place.
The map is made for curious drinkers, venues, buyers, journalists, producers and anyone trying to understand who is building new forms of conviviality beyond the usual alcohol script.
It is not a ranking, not a "best of" list and not a paid directory.
It is a living, imperfect, manually updated landscape.
Some producers will be missing. Some details may change. Some categories will probably need to be rewritten as the scene grows.
That is also the point.
No/Lo Italy is a 100% independent project created by Riccardo Astolfi and developed by Zeno Astolfi.
